§ 91.01 AUTHORITY.

The legislature of the state has, in G.S. Ch. 67-1 and 67-1A and G.S. §§ 160A-174, 160A-182, 160A-186 and 160A-187, delegated to local governments the regulation of domestic animals and the regulation of dangerous animals for the purpose of promoting the public health, safety and general welfare within a community.
