A. The Latah County Department of Disaster Services is created to administer the Disaster Policy of Latah County pursuant to the requirements of Idaho Code section 46-1009.
B. The purposes of this chapter is to provide for the preparation and carrying out of plans for the disaster services of persons and property within this County in the event of a disaster or emergency and provide for the coordination of the disaster services functions of the County with all other public agencies and affected private persons, corporations, and organizations.
C. Any expenditures made in connection with such disaster services activities, including mutual aid activities, shall be deemed conclusively to be for the direct protection and benefit of the inhabitants and property of Latah County. (Ord. 251, 7-7-2004, eff. 7-7-2004)
