(A) It is hereby prohibited and unlawful pursuant to City of LaSalle ordinances to sell, allow the sale of and/or give any tobacco product, electronic cigarette, or alternative nicotine product to any person under the age of 21 within the city. Also, it is hereby prohibited and unlawful pursuant to City of LaSalle ordinances for any person under 21 years of age to purchase and/or possess any tobacco product, electronic cigarette, or alternative nicotine product within the city.
(B) For purposes of this section, TOBACCO PRODUCTS, ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES,and ALTERNATIVE NICOTINE PRODUCTS are defined in accord with the terms and provisions as set forth within the State of Illinois Statutes, specifically ILCS Ch. 720, Act 675, § 1, effective July 1, 2019, as said statute may also be prospectively amended from time to time.
