§ 37.04  ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS SUPERVISOR.
   There is hereby established the Office of Administrative Hearings. That office shall be directed by an Administrative Hearings Supervisor, who shall be the Chief of Police, or his/her designee. The Administrative Hearings Supervisor's function is to expedite the prosecution and/or correction of code violations subject to the jurisdiction of the administrative adjudication system. The Administrative Hearings Supervisor is authorized to manage the administrative adjudication process in the manner provided for in this chapter, which shall include reviewing the qualifications of potential administrative hearing officers and establishing such rules and regulations, as may be necessary for the effective operation of the administrative adjudication system. The Chief of Police may also appoint other persons to assist with the administrative adjudication system provided for in this chapter. The Administrative Hearings Supervisor, or his/her designee, shall also act as the Traffic Compliance Administrator and perform those duties required by ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 11-208.3, as amended, in regard to violations for the standing, parking or condition of motor vehicles.
