As an advisory arm to the City Council, the Park Development Committee shall have available to it the opportunity to confer for legal counsel with the City Attorney to the extent deemed necessary and appropriate in the circumstances. The city shall provide liability and insurance coverage for any events authorized by the City Council if any should be so authorized in amounts and coverages and to the extent deemed appropriate by the City Council. The Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer as agents of the city shall be provided insurance under the coverage available to the city to the extent that said Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer’s actions are within the scope of said agency on behalf of the city.
