The city hereby adopts the Police Pension Act of the State, the title of which Act is as follows: An Act to provide for the setting apart, formation and disbursements of a police pension fund in cities, villages and incorporated towns in the State of Illinois having a population of not less than 5,000 and not more than 200,000 inhabitants. (Approved June 14, 1909, enforced July 1, 1909), and all amendments thereto, now appearing as Division B of Article 10 of Chapter 24, Illinois Statutes.
