§ 32.072  CITIZENS SOLID WASTE PLANNING ADVISORY BOARD.
   (A)   The Board of Commissioners does establish an advisory board to serve in the capacity of advising and assisting in the planning of solid waste management as envisioned by I.C. 13-21-3 et seq.
   (B)   This Board shall be known as the Citizens Solid Waste Planning Advisory Board.
   (C)   The aforementioned Solid Waste Planning Advisory Board shall be composed of three individuals from each of three County Commissioner Districts, comprising a nine-member Board.
   (D)   The members appointed to the Citizens Solid Waste Planning Advisory Board shall be appointed formally by the Board of Commissioners and shall serve until that time when their service is no longer required as contemplated and provided by I.C. 13-21-3 et seq.
   (E)   The Advisory Board shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
      (1)   The Board shall function pursuant to the provisions of I.C. 13-21-3 et seq.
      (2)   Its function shall be to recommend to and advise the Board of Commissioners relative to the creation of Solid Waste Management Districts and the establishment of a Solid Waste Management Committee.
      (3)   Additionally, the Citizens Advisory Board shall have the authority to recommend and advise the Commissioners relative to the spectrum of issues involving solid waste management planning.
   (F)   The actions of the Citizens Solid Waste Planning Advisory Board are advisory in nature and the recommendations and findings shall be reported to the Board of Commissioners immediately after the findings or recommendations are made.
   (G)   The Citizens Solid Waste Planning Advisory Board shall meet no less than once a month.  Minutes shall be maintained of every meeting and the minutes and/or any findings or recommendations shall be reported immediately to the Board of Commissioners.
