(A) There is established a Juvenile Services Center within and for the county which shall be controlled by the Judge of the Circuit Court under advice from the Juvenile Services Advisory Board.
(B) There is established a Juvenile Services Advisory Board which shall consist of not less than seven members nor more than nine members and which shall act as advisors to the Judge of the Circuit Court in the Judge’s administration and control of the Juvenile Services Center.
(C) (1) The initial membership of the Advisory Board shall consist of those individuals appointed to the county Juvenile Services Board under County Ordinances 89-6 and 93-2. Each of the initial Board members shall serve until his or her term would have expired under his or her original appointment.
(2) Replacement members shall be appointed for three-year terms by the Judge of the Circuit Court, or by a judicial officer or magistrate as the Judge of the Circuit Court may designate.
(3) No member may serve more than two consecutive terms, and then must be off of the Board for at least one full term prior to reappointment.
(D) The Board shall always have representatives from the following:
(1) County government;
(2) Education;
(3) Law enforcement; and
(4) Social agencies servicing children.
