§ 32.020  COUNTY COUNCIL ON AGING, INC.
   (A)   The County Council on Aging, Inc. was incorporated as a separate legal entity on December 17, 1973.
   (B)   The county recognizes that the County Council on Aging, Inc. may coordinate, develop, institute, evaluate, and operate services to the aging and aged of the county, in areas including, but not limited to, the following fields:
      (1)   Employment;
      (2)   Income maintenance;
      (3)   Housing and living arrangements;
      (4)   Health;
      (5)   Effective use of leisure;
      (6)   Social and spiritual relationships; and
      (7)   Pre-retirement and post-retirement planning.
   (C)   The county further recognizes that its activities are also intended to educate the aging and aged of the county by acting as a central clearing house which receives, compiles, and disseminates information to the aging and aged of the county and studies their problems in all areas, including, but not limited to, the following fields:
      (1)   Employment;
      (2)   Income maintenance;
      (3)   Housing and living arrangements;
      (4)   Health;
      (5)   Effective use of leisure;
      (6)   Social and spiritual relationships; and
      (7)   Pre-retirement and post-retirement planning.
   (D)   Concurrent with these activities, the County Council on Aging, Inc. intends to encourage and assist in the development of programs for pre-retirement planning, post-retirement activities, and other community measures to meet the needs of people in their later years, and to cooperate with the Area Agency on Aging.
