Park sites, and any and all other property under the jurisdiction, management, and control of the county Parks and Recreation Department, are for use by the general public. One of the functions of the Department is to conserve, protect, and interpret a well-balanced system of parks, open spaces, and natural areas of the county. These rules and regula- tions are intended to help carry out this function. The rules and regulations below are intended to control the conduct of the public and the uses of the facilities of any and all park sites and/or other property under the jurisdiction and management of the county Parks and Recreation Department. Hereinafter, any references within the chapter to parks or park sites shall include, but not be limited to, park sites and/or any and all property under the jurisdiction, management, and control of the county Parks and Recreation Department.
