§ 36.26  NON-REVERTING TELEPHONE COMMISSIONS FUND.
   (A)   There is hereby established a non-reverting, special fund to be known as the Telephone Commissions Fund (the “Fund”), which shall be under the joint supervision of the County Auditor and the County Treasurer.
   (B)   Any and all commissions or payments received by the county and/or the County Sheriff’s Department from any telephone service provider or vendor as a result of any contractual relationship with the county and/or the County Sheriff’s Department shall be regularly deposited into the Fund.
   (C)   The Fund may be used for any purpose provided for under applicable state and local laws, but no amount shall be expended from the Fund unless a request is submitted to and an appropriation is approved by the County Council.
   (D)   Upon receiving notification of approval of an appropriation for a requested expenditure, the County Auditor and the County Treasurer shall then cause a payment to be made from the Fund in the amount requested by co-signing the requisite documentation.
   (E)   All receipts and disbursements from this Fund shall be regularly itemized and maintained in a ledger available for public inspection and/or review.
   (F)   The balance of this Fund on December 31 of each year shall remain in the Fund.
