§ 36.16  COUNTY CORRECTIONS FUND.
   (A)   The Board of Commissioners hereby elects to receive deposits from the Department of Correction in accordance with I.C. 11-12-6.
   (B)   The Board of Commissioners hereby elects to receive these deposits at Level 3 funding.
   (C)   There is hereby created a County Corrections Fund, to be administered by the County Council.  The Fund shall consist of deposits received from the Department of Correction in accordance with I.C. 11-12-6, and quarterly reports shall be submitted to both the County Council and Board of Commissioners with reference to same.
   (D)   The County Corrections Fund may be used only for funding the operation of the County Jail, jail programs, or other local correctional facilities.  Any money remaining in the County Corrections Fund at the end of the year does not revert to any other fund but remains in the County Corrections Fund.
