No other person, organization, group or corporation may furnish, operate, conduct, maintain, advertise or otherwise be engaged in providing emergency medical service in LaPorte County, either paid or voluntarily, until such person, organization, group or corporation is authorized to do so by LaPorte County Emergency Medical Services authority except as otherwise provided by I.C. 31-5-2 as follows:
(A) If such person is authorized to provide emergency medical ambulance services in any part of another county; and
(B) Such person has been requested to provide emergency ambulance services:
(1) To the county in which the person is authorized to provide emergency ambulance services, and those services will originate in another county; or
(2) From the county in which the person is authorized to provide emergency ambulance services and those services will terminate in another county.
