(a) “Micromobility Device” means a device weighing less than one-hundred (100) pounds that is propelled by electric power, human power, or both, and includes, but is not limited to, partially or fully motorized bicycles, e-bikes, electric scooters, electric skateboards, and electric pedal assisted bicycles. For the purposes of this chapter, micromobility devices include low-speed micromobility devices as defined in Section 301.183
of the Codiifed Ordinances.
(b) “Shared Micromobility Rental Service” means any collection of one (1) or more micromobility device(s) or low-speed micromobility device(s) owned by a person or organization, as defined in Section 501.11
(d) of the Codified Ordinances, that is for rent or otherwise shared by multiple users, and paid for by fee or subscription service.
