11-8-7: LAPSE OF APPROVAL:
   A.   Unless otherwise specified by the zoning administrator, an administrative permit approval and non-permit approvals of the Zoning Administrator shall become null and void one (1) year after the date of approval, unless the property owner or applicant has substantially started the construction of any building, structure, addition or alteration, or use requested as part of the approved administrative permit. The property owner or applicant shall have the right to submit an application for time extension in accordance with this section.
   B.   In making its determination on whether an applicant has made a good faith attempt to utilize the administrative permit approval, the zoning administrator shall consider such factors as the type, design, and size of the proposed construction, any applicable restrictions on financing, or special and/or unique circumstances beyond the control of the applicant which have caused the delay.
   C.   The request for an extension of an administrative permit approval shall be determined by the zoning administrator within fifteen (15) days from the receipt of a complete request. (Ord. 1031, 6-1-2020; amd. Ord. 1065, 4-4-2022)
