A permit may be revoked or suspended at any time by order of the chief of the fire department or his designee for any violation of the provisions of this chapter or upon the creation or existence of any condition which would, in the opinion of the chief or his designee create or tend to create a serious fire hazard following a hearing as provided by section 1-5-3 of this code. The chief's decision may be appealed to the city council. The council shall conduct a hearing to affirm, affirm in part, or reject the decision of the chief. (Ord. 728, sec. 5, 3-17-2003)
