The city's park and recreation director is authorized to establish rules regulating conduct in city parks. Copies of the rules shall be posted in each park. Any person who violates park rules may be ordered to cease and desist by a police officer or community service officer. If the violation continues after an order to cease and desist, a police officer or community service officer may order the violator to leave the park. Failure to leave the park when ordered to do so is a misdemeanor. Citations may be issued by a community service officer and/or police officer. (Ord. 952, 1-4-2016)
