6-1-2: DRIVING NEAR FIRE VEHICLES AND FIRES:
   A.   No person shall come within five hundred feet (500') of any fire apparatus going to a fire; immediately upon the approach of any fire apparatus or fire officers' cars sounding proper signals and responding to an alarm, all other vehicles shall draw as near as possible to the curb and remain standing until such apparatus or vehicle shall have passed.
   B.   No person shall drive a vehicle of any kind over fire hoses laying on a street whether same is in service at the time or not.
   C.   No person except fire department members shall park a car within three hundred feet (300') of a fire. (Ord. 31, sec. 7, 4-5-1968; amd. 1980 Code)
