Annually the city council shall cause to be published a map designating the areas within the city where shooting a firearm is allowed. Shooting a firearm in areas not designated on the map is prohibited except as allowed with the written permission of the Lakeville police chief, which permission shall be given under the following circumstances:
A. With the written permission of the property owner; and
B. The area is isolated, rural in character, and sparsely populated; and
C. No more than one party shall be allowed in the area at one time. (Ord. 843, sec. 3, 8-4-2008)
