All solicitors shall be required to register with the city. Registration shall be made on the same form provided by the police department, but no fee shall be required. Immediately upon completion of the registration form, the city shall issue to the registrant a certificate of registration as proof of the registration. Certificates of registration shall be nontransferable. Registration shall be valid for a period of up to one calendar year. Within seven (7) days after the expiration of a registration the registration must be returned to the police department. (Ord. 953, 1-4-2016)
