It is unlawful for any person to Operate a snowmobile within the limits of the City of Lake St. Croix Beach:
(A) At any place, while under the influence of alcohol or drugs as defined in M.S. § 161.121, which is hereby incorporated herein by reference.
(B) At a rate of speed greater than reasonable or proper under all surrounding circumstances.
(C) At any place in a careless, reckless, or negligent manner or heedlessly in disregard of the rights or safety of others, or in a manner so as to endanger or be likely to endanger or cause injury or damage to any person or property.
(D) During the hours from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on weekdays; during the hours of 1:00 a.m. to 7 :00 a.m. on weekends.
(E) So as to tow any person or thing in a public Street or highway except through use of a rigid tow bar attached to the rear of the snowmobile.
(F) Within 100 feet of any fisherman, pedestrian, skating rink or gliding area where the operation would conflict with use or endanger other Persons or property.
(G) Within the corporate limits of the City of Lake St. Croix Beach the speed limit must not exceed 20 m.p.h.
(H) On any City Park land, including Pettitt Park, Riverfront Park, Veteran's Memorial, and the Levees on Riviera Ave S and 21st Street S. However, seasonal access during winter months is allowed over Park land and Public beach at a site designated by City Council for the purpose of accessing frozen waters. The access site and length of duration for access will be subject to City Council determination.
