§ 31.03 COMPENSATION OF ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND BOARD MEMBERS.
The Mayor and City Council members, Planning Commission members, Cable Commission representatives, Joint City representatives, Fire District representatives and all other special appointed representatives of the city shall be reimbursed by the city for their attendance, in their official capacity and in performance of their official duties, whether within or outside the city. Notwithstanding the above, the Mayor and the City Council members shall not be reimbursed or paid for attendance at regular Council meetings. In addition to the established salary of their office, such compensation shall be in the amount of $10 per meeting or conference. Additional reimbursement shall be provided for mileage expense at the maximum allowable rate as established by the Commissioner of Revenue for the Internal Revenue Service, parking expense and actual costs of meals if authorized by the City Council. All such reimbursement expenses and payment shall be processed by written voucher as required by statute. The City Council may from time to time, by way of resolution, adjust, amend or otherwise modify the manner or the amount of reimbursement for expenses provided by this section. Should any city representative be directly reimbursed from the board or commission on which they are a member on behalf of the city, the compensation otherwise provided by the city shall be offset by the amount so directly paid such representative by the board or commission on which he or she serves.
