Except as hereinafter provided, the provisions of M.S. Chapters 168 and 169, the Highway Traffic Regulation Act, and M.S. §§ 160.27, 171.02, 171.03, 171.04, 171.05, 171.08, 171.11, 171.22 and 171.24, as they may be amended from time to time, shall be applicable and in full force and effect in the city, and the same are hereby adopted by reference.
