(A) Members of the Tree Commission shall serve a two (2)-year term. The Tree Commission shall consist of not less than four (4) nor more than eight (8) members as from time to time appointed by the Mayor. Members of the Commission may be appointed to consecutive terms. Members of the Tree Commission shall serve without compensation and must be a resident of the city.
(B) Any vacancy arising by reason of death, resignation or removal of any member of the Tree Commission shall be filled in the manner provided under § 22.301, for the unexpired term of the member. Members of the Tree Commission serve at the Mayor's pleasure, and the Mayor may remove a member for any reason including, but not limited to, inefficiency, neglect of duty, malfeasance or conflict of interest.
