§ 71.001 INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE ADOPTED BY REFERENCE
   (A)   It shall be unlawful in any city for the owner of a property to permit any structure upon the property to become unfit and unsafe for human habitation, occupancy, or use or to permit conditions to exist in the structure which are dangerous or injurious to the health or safety of the occupants of the structure, the occupants of neighboring structures, or other residents of the city, county, or urban- county.
   (B)   Pursuant to the authority of Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) 83A.060(5), the 2006 International Property Maintenance Code, which was published in 2006 by the International Code Council, Inc., 5203 Leesburg Pike, Suite 708, Falls Church, Virginia, is hereby made a part of the permanent records of the city; and the provisions thereof are hereby adopted by reference thereto, without setting them out in full, but with the revisions and amendments hereinafter provided.
   (C)   A copy of the code is on file in the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer.
