§ 26.002 PERSONNEL POLICY TO APPLY TO CERTAIN EMPLOYEES
   The provisions of Ordinance 4-1988 titled “Personnel Policies; Job Classification System, Appendix A: Hourly Salary Schedule” and Ordinance Amending #4-1988 are hereby repealed except as applicable to city employees as of the effective date of this ordinance, for whom those provisions of Ordinance 10-1990 pertaining to disciplinary action, permanent status, dismissal, and the dismissal process remain in effect. Current employees may be terminated only for cause, whereas any employees employed subsequent to January 1, 1997, are employed at-will and may have their employment terminated without cause.
