3.4.11 Blocking.

Fire hydrants, valves and pipe ends shall be blocked with unreinforced concrete (at least 2500 psi) as shown in the City’s standard water details. If blocking for a particular situation is not given in the City details, then the NCTCOG details shall be used. In no instance shall rocks be in contact with the pipe or fittings.
