3.4.5 Materials.

For sizes smaller than 16", PVC DR-18 pipe (class 150 or stronger) conforming to AWWA standard C-900 shall be used. For larger pipes, polywrapped ductile iron (class 150 or stronger) or concrete cylinder pipe shall be used.

Asbestos Cement pipe, glued or threaded PVC (including schedules 20, 40, or 80) shall NOT be allowed for water mains or connections prior to the customer water meter.
