(A) Upon receipt of an application, the Town Planner, or his or her designee, shall review the submission to determine if all required elements of the plat application have been submitted. The applicant shall be informed of any deficiencies. Once all elements of the plat application have been submitted, the Planner shall send a certification letter to the applicant that the plat application is ready for review by the Planning and Zoning Commission. The filing date of the preliminary plat shall be deemed to be the date the plat application is certified as complete by the planner or his or her designee.
(B) The developer/owner shall submit two originals and 15 blue or black line copies of the plat together with applicable filing fees and written application at least 15 working days prior to the date at which formal application for the preliminary plat approval is made by the Commission. The filing date of the preliminary plat shall be deemed to be the date that the plat application is complete.
