Before a moving permit as required by this subchapter is granted by the Chief of Police, the party applying therefor shall give a bond in the sum of $1,000,000 with good and sufficient sureties to be approved by the Town Secretary and Town Attorney, conditioning, among other things, that the party will save, indemnify, and hold harmless the town against all liabilities, judgements, costs, and expenses which may in any way accrue against the town because of the granting of the permit, and that upon the expiration of the time named in the permit, or sooner if the use of the streets, alleys, avenues, or public grounds is no longer necessary, he or she shall clear the same of all obstructions.
