(A) The Town of Lakeside here adopts the following codes of the International Conference of Building Officials: the 2000 Uniform Building Code; the 2000 Plumbing Code; the 2000 Uniform Mechanical Code; the 2000 Administrative Code; the 1999 Electrical Code; and the 1992 Model Energy Code. There is specifically included in the adoption Appendix Chapters 1, 11, and Division 1 of 12, 32, 38, 49, and 70 of the Uniform Building Code, and the Fire Code set out in the Related Publications to which reference is made in the preface or introductory section of the Uniform Building Code. There is excepted from the codes the following: the Uniform Building Code, 1927 edition, and the California State Fire Marshal construction materials listing. It is provided, however, that each code is modified and adopted with the changes recommended by North Central Texas Council of Governments as published and available for review on the effective date of this section. Each of the codes as modified herein are hereby adopted and incorporated as if fully set out herein.
(B) In all instances in the codes where reference is made to a board of appeals, same shall mean the Board of Adjustment for the Town of Lakeside.
(C) The Town Secretary is instructed to publish this section as provided by law.
(D) This section shall be in full force and effect from and after its publication as required by law and it is so ordained.
