(A) The street number address of each structure facing a street within the town shall be posted on a mailbox, curb, or the structure itself and in such a manner that same will be visible from the street which the structure fronts.
(B) If posted on a mailbox or curb, the numbers shall be a minimum of two inches in height and shall be of a light-reflective material.
(C) If posted on the structure, the numbers shall be at least four inches of height and either be of a light reflecting material or a color that contrasts with the portion of the structure on which the numbers are located. The numbers shall not be allowed to be obscured or covered by any vegetative growth or other matter and shall be placed at least four feet above ground level, but no more than seven feet above ground level.
(D) If any owner or occupant of a structure fails or refuses to post a street address number after being given notice to do so by any employee of the town, the town may post the number on a curbside if one exists. All cost for posting same shall be billed to and paid by the owner or occupant.
(E) This section shall be in full force and effect from and after its publication as required by law, and it is so ordained.
