(A) No person shall engage in disorderly conduct within the corporate limits of the Town of Lakeside, Texas, as the term “disorderly conduct” is defined in Tex. Penal Code, § 42.01, including any future amendment, codification, or successor statute defining same as may be enacted.
(B) For the purpose of this section, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
UNREASONABLE. To the extent that a person of ordinary sensibilities is caused discomfort or distress beyond ordinary and acceptable levels generally experienced; and
(C) The use of loud speakers or other sound amplifying equipment outside of a dwelling, residence, place of business, warehouse, or other enclosed space after 10:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and before 7:00 a.m. on the day following or after 12:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday and before 7:00 a.m. on the day following shall be deemed to be unreasonable noise and shall constitute disorderly conduct. It is provided, however, that the Friday and Saturday times specified herein shall apply to any day of the week that falls on or one day before a nationally recognized and observed holiday.
(D) This section shall become effective after its passage and adoption and upon publication as required by law.
