(A) Pursuant to the terms of an Agreement for the Provision of Fire Safety Inspections, Plan Review for Fire Code Compliance, Fire Code Enforcement and Fire Investigation Services, an inter-local agreement between the Town of Lakeside and the City of Lake Worth, entered into prior to or concurrently with the adoption of this chapter, and any subsequent extensions, amendments, and
modifications thereto, the Lake Worth Fire Department is appointed to be the primary agency responsible for providing fire safety inspections, plan review for fire code compliance, fire code enforcement, and fire investigation services within the town.
(B) All commercial buildings within the town shall be required to submit to annual fire safety inspections to ensure compliance with all applicable fire code provisions.
(C) Notwithstanding anything in this code to the contrary, prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy, the town shall inspect the subject property to ensure compliance with all applicable fire code provisions.
