It shall be the responsibility of any person, owner or occupant discharging waste into the sanitary sewerage system of the town to furnish the town with drawings or plans and specifications in such detail as may be required to determine if the pretreatment structure planned by such person, or in use by such person, is suitable for the purpose intended. However, the approval of such plans by the town will in no way relieve such person of the responsibility for modifying the structure once constructed as necessary to produce an effluent acceptable under the terms of this subchapter.
