Repairs made to existing services shall cause each service to conform in every respect with this chapter. If the plumbing is not within the code requirements, as outlined in § 52.03(B), it is required to be brought up to code standards by the property owner. The owner is responsible to pay for said replacement unless the city, at its option, elects to pay for said repairs and assess the cost of the repairs to the property.
