§ 153.012 NOTIFICATIONS.
   (A)   Copies of all plats with lands which are all or partially located within the shoreland district shall be submitted to the Commissioner of Natural Resources ten days prior to such hearings as are required under this chapter. Copies of all plats within the shoreland district shall be submitted to the Commissioner of Natural Resources within ten days after final approval by the City Council.
   (B)   If the proposed plat includes lands abutting upon any existing or established trunk highway or proposed highway which has been designated by a centerline order filed in the office of the County Recorder, the preliminary plat must be presented to the State Commissioner of Transportation for written comments and recommendations at least 30 days prior to final action on the preliminary plat. Final action shall not be taken until after comment is received or until the 30-day period has elapsed.
   (C)   If the proposed plat includes lands abutting an existing or proposed county road, highway, or county state-aid highway that is designated on a map or county highway plan filed in the office of the County Recorder, the preliminary plat must be submitted to the County Engineer for review within five business days after receipt by the city. Within 30 days after county receipt of the preliminary plat the County Engineer shall provide to the city written comments stating whether the preliminary plat meets county guidelines and describing any necessary modifications. Final action shall not be taken until after comment is received or until the comment period has expired, whichever occurs first.
   (D)   Within ten business days following the city’s approval of a preliminary plat the city shall submit notice of its approval to the County Board, along with a statement addressing the disposition of any written comments or recommendations made by the County Engineer. The city shall file a certificate or other evidence showing submission of the preliminary plat to the Commissioner or County Engineer along with the final plat.
