§ 71.03 PARKING RESTRICTIONS.
   (A)   Sales. No vehicle shall be parked or let stand on any street or city parking lot for the purpose of displaying or offering it for sale. No automobile dealer shall park or let stand a vehicle in a city parking lot for the purpose of storing it temporarily or permanently.
   (B)   Camping. No person shall for overnight camping purposes leave or park a house trailer, motor home, or recreational vehicle on any street.
   (C)   Time. No vehicle shall be parked or let stand on any street or city parking lot for a period longer than 24 hours between October 15 and April 15 of each year. Between April 16 and October 14 of each year no vehicle shall be parked or let stand on any street or city parking lot for a period longer than 48 hours.
   (D)   Motor running. No person shall park or let stand on any street, city parking area, or private property any motor vehicle with the drive engine or other auxiliary motor running, except that commercial trucks and other vehicles or more than one ton capacity legally parked in a designated truck parking zone may be parked in that zone for a period not to exceed 48 hours with the drive engine and an auxiliary motor running.
   (E)   Designation of parking zones and fire lanes. The Council may, by resolution, designate certain areas of the city, including streets, blocks, alleys and public access areas of private property, as no parking zones, limited parking zones and fire lanes, and shall mark by appropriate signs any zones so established. Such zones shall be established whenever necessary for the convenience and safety of the public, or to minimize traffic hazards, to preserve the free flow of traffic, or to provide access to property for emergency purposes. No person shall park or let stand any vehicle in any such designated zone except as is specified on the signs marking such zone. No person shall park or let stand any vehicle in any such designated fire lane.
