The Council shall have the power to acquire for the village by purchase, gift, land contract purchase, condemnation, lease, construction or otherwise, either within or without the Village of Lake Orion, property of every type and nature which may be required for or incidental to the present or future exercise of the purpose, powers, and duties of the village government established by this Charter and may build thereon, and on any other property owned or leased by the village, such buildings or structures as may be necessary to carry out the purposes for which such land is owned or leased.
