The Council together with the Village Manager, who shall be its Secretary and Executive Officer, will constitute the Board of Health of the village. The Board of Health shall adopt rules and regulations for their own government and it and its officers and agents shall possess all powers, privileges, and immunities granted to boards of health by state law. The Board of Health shall have supervision of all matters relating to the sanitary condition of the village and preservation of the life and health of its inhabitants. The President shall be the chairman of the Board of Health.
