The Michigan Vehicle Code, being Act 300 of the Public Acts of 1949, M.C.L.A. §§ 257.1 to 257.923, as amended now and in the future, is hereby adopted by reference as an ordinance of the Village of Lake Orion. Pursuant to Act 10 of the Public Acts of 2012, § 625(1)(c) of the Michigan Vehicle Code, M.C.L.A. § 257.625(1)(c), is specifically hereby adopted by reference as an ordinance of the village, violation of the ordinance shall be a misdemeanor, punishable by one or more of the following:
(A) Community service for not more than 360 hours.
(B) Imprisonment for not more than 180 days.
(C) A fine of not less than $200 or more than $700.
