§ 9.20 CLOSING HOURS.
   (A)   (1)   Unless otherwise provided in this chapter, it shall be unlawful to sell or offer for sale at retail any alcoholic liquor in the village on Saturday and Sundays between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. and on weekdays between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., with the following exceptions:
         (a)   On January 1, on which day Class A, Class B, Class BB, Class D, Class F and Class H license holders may remain open until 4:00 a.m.; provided that, they notify the Police Department in writing on or before December 29 of the preceding year;
         (b)   For Class F liquor license holders, the sale or offer for sale at retail of any alcoholic liquor may be permitted beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays;
         (c)   For Class C and Class DD liquor license holders, the sale or offer for sale at retail of any alcoholic liquor may be permitted beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Sundays; and
         (d)   The President and Board of Trustees may, in their discretion, modify the opening hour or the closing hour upon written request for good cause. It shall be unlawful to keep open for business or to admit the public at any premises in or on which alcoholic liquor is sold at retail during the hours within which the sale of such liquor is prohibited; provided that, in the case of restaurants, hotels, clubs, drug stores and Class C and Class DD license holders and other license holders whose main business is other than the sale of alcohol, such establishments may be kept open, but no alcoholic liquor may be sold to or consumed by the public during the hours when sales are prohibited.
