§ 3.13 RECORDS RETENTION POLICY.
   (A)   In compliance with the Local Records Act, ILCS Ch, 50, Act 205, §§ 1 et seq., the village hereby implements a records retention policy, and utilizes the records destruction program managed by the Bureau of Local Records.
   (B)   The schedule attached to Ordinance 16-O-13 as Exhibit A is hereby incorporated by reference, as if set forth in full herein, and shall henceforth serve as the village’s official records retention schedule.
   (C)   All records disposal shall first be approved by the Bureau of Local Records after due application for same.
   (D)   From and after the effective date of this section, the Village President and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to do all things necessary and essential, including the execution of any documents and certificates to carry out the provisions of this section.
