The village shall maintain and update as necessary an emergency operations plan which describes the functions of the village and supporting services for responding to and recovering from disasters and shall take into account the needs of those individuals with household pets and service animals following a major disaster or emergency in accordance with the Emergency Management Agency Act, being ILCS Ch. 20, Act 3305, §§ 1 et seq.
