(A) Designated bathing beaches. The Lake Shore Drive Beach is the only designated swimming beach on Lily Lake.
(B) Bathing beach regulations.
(1) Use of beaches restricted to residents or guests only.
(2) Fishing is prohibited on the beaches.
(3) Swimmers using the beaches must stay within the confines of the buoys marking the swimming area.
(4) The Village Board or Chief of Police may restrict use of bathing beaches when conditions of weather or health warrant or when other activities shall have been approved.
(5) No person shall be allowed to cast, throw or deposit bottles, glass, caps, garbage, refuse or debris onto the beaches.
(6) Glass bottles are prohibited on beaches.
(7) Fires are prohibited on beaches.
(8) Beach hours are 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
(9) No lifeguard on duty; do not swim alone.
(10) No person shall possess or consume any alcoholic liquor on the beaches.
(C) Special permits. The village may issue a permit upon good cause shown to persons or groups for the purpose of special events on a first come-first served basis.
(D) Enforcement. The Village Police Department or any special police or water safety patrol authorized by the village shall for the purpose of this section have full and complete jurisdiction of the beaches for the enforcement of this section.
(E) Penalties. Any person violating any part of this section shall be fined not less than $25, nor more than $750, for each offense.
