(A) The streets described herein are hereby designated through streets and stop intersections. The driver of a vehicle shall stop as provided by law in obedience to a stop sign erected at the entrance to a through street or stop intersection.
(B) In accordance with this section, drivers of vehicles shall stop before entering any of the following designated through streets and stop intersections unless otherwise directed by a police officer or traffic signal:
