(A) Standing committees. There shall be the following standing committees of the Board of Trustees:
(1) Executive Committee;
(2) Public Works Committee;
(3) Public Safety Committee;
(4) Economic Development Committee; and
(5) Finance Committee.
(B) Special committees. The Village Board shall establish other special committees as it deems necessary.
(C) Membership in committees.
(1) The President shall appoint the members of all standing and special committees and shall designate the Chairperson thereof.
(2) Every committee of the Board shall consist of three members, including the Chairperson, unless the Board shall approve otherwise.
(D) Reports of committees. It shall be the duty of each committee to comply with the Open Meetings Act, being ILCS Ch. 5, Act 120, §§ 1 et seq.
