§ 163.04 FIRE PREVENTION.

   (A)   Fire permit fees.

TYPE	FEE
For new construction, additions, renovations, etc.:
Plan review fee	$0.02 per square foot of the construction. $40 minimum, due at time of application; non-refundable
Inspection fee	$0.02 per square foot of the construction. $30 minimum, due at permit issuance
Other fire permit types:
Special locking arrangements (includes maglocks, delayed egress, etc.)	$50; $25 due at application; non-refundable
Modular furniture with/without electrical)	$75; $25 due at application; non-refundable
Miscellaneous fire permits (to include all permits requiring a fire review and are not already categorized, i.e., gates, generators, mechanical, electrical, letters of intent, etc.)	0.4% of job value of construction; $50 minimum; $25 due at application; non-refundable

 

   (B)   Fire protection systems.

 

TYPE	FEE
Permit fees:
Fixed systems - including wet chemical, dry chemical, CO2, kitchen hood, clean agents such as Inergen, FM200, etc.	$65 due at time of application which in non- refundable, plus $6.50 per $1,000 of cost* - due at permit issuance, minimum of $40
Fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems (includes underground fire lines)	$70 due at time of application which is non- refundable, plus $6.50 per $1,000 of cost* - due at permit issuance, minimum of $40
* or fraction thereof

 

   (C)   Site/DRC - fire fees.

Development plans:
Final plat	$50; due at application; non-refundable
Final subdivision	$75; due at application; non-refundable
Minor site plan	$75; due at application; non-refundable
Preliminary subdivision	$100; due at application; non-refundable
Site plan	$150; due at application; non-refundable
Site plan revision	$50; due at application; non-refundable
Rezoning/other fees:
Annexation	$50; due at application; non-refundable
Final Planned Unit Development (PUD)	$100; due at application; non-refundable
Preliminary PUD	$50; due at application; non-refundable
Conditional use	$25; due at application; non-refundable
Variance (if fire review required)	$25; due at application; non-refundable

 

   (D)   Special permit fees.
