The intent of the City Commission in adopting this code is to establish reasonable and uniform regulations for the adult entertainment industry that will protect the health, safety, property values, and general welfare of the people, businesses, and industries of the city. It is not the intent of the City Commission to legislate with respect to matters of obscenity. These matters are regulated by federal and state law, including F. S. Chapter 847.
