§ 70.46 ISSUANCE OF CITATIONS.
   (A)   Any police officer shall attach to any vehicle parked in violation of this chapter a notice to the owner or operator thereof instructing the owner to report to the Lake Mary Police Department/Records Section in regard to the violation. In addition to police officers of the city, the following employees, in addition to their defined duties, are hereby designated a parking enforcement officer and authorized to issue parking violation citations under this section: all full time or part time employed firefighters and inspectors; code enforcement officers and community service officers.
   (B)   The citation is and shall remain the property of the city before and after the serving, delivery, or affixing thereof and is and shall be considered an integral part of the Police Department. All persons receiving any such notice in writing, whether by personal service or by affixing of the same to a vehicle, shall be required to preserve the notice and to bring and present or otherwise transmit the notice to the Lake Mary Police Department/Records Section when answering the charge set forth in the notice.
   (C)   Each person shall have 30 days from the day when the notice was attached to the vehicle to respond to the Lake Mary Police Department/Records Section.
